How to use

Dilute 1 litre soil conditioner to 10 litres unchlorinated
water and apply liberally 4-6 times per year to bare
soil between crop planting and harvesting.
We recommend using unchlorinated water – allow
tap water to stand for 30 mins to dechlorinate.

What is the best time of the year to use Soil Conditioner?

The best time of year to use Soil Conditioner is in the spring when preparing the soil for planting, and in the autumn once annual flowers and vegetables have gone over or have been harvested. It is best to spray or water over cover crop, plant waste or bare soil or so maximum solution reaches maximum soil.

Are any of your products fertilisers or do I have to apply those as well?

Soil Conditioner will, when applied, increase the fertility of your soil and because it is a natural product it does not have any negative effects. We would recommend that you do not use any chemical fertilisers.

How do microbes work in the soil?

"Large numbers of bacteria exist in soil. One gram of soil contains anywhere from a few hundred million to several billion microorganisms.

Microbes are fundamental to help the ecosystem function by breaking down organic substances and circulating nutrients. When the quantity of healthy microbes in the soil decreases or the balance is disrupted, other living things such as earthworms will be negatively affected and the soil will become impoverished.

The diversity of microbes contained in our products will increase the number and diversity of microbes in the soil. When they are activated, protozoans and larger organisms such as worms will increase in number and a healthier ecosystem will result. Soil with diversified microflora will inhibit the growth of specific disease-causing bacteria, which help prevent plant loss. "
